Thank you for showing your interest in our puppies. Our adoption process is a very important part for us and for you to get to know each other, and reach a mutual agreement on what our puppies can offer to you is what your family is looking for, as well as if your family is a perfect fit for our fur babies.

 

We take pride not only on breeding healthy puppies but as well on having the hability to find amazing families who are capable to see our puppies not just as a pet but as a potential member of their family, a baby, or a companion who they want to love and share precious and memorable moments (animal lovers, crazy dog people!!!).

 

The adoption process is as follows:

 

1st.- After going through our website, exploring our facebook and watching videos on our youtube channel, head to our AVAILABLE section where you can see the puppies that are currently available as well as upcoming litters.

 

2nd.- Once explored and finding an available puppy that you may like, you are required to fill out and send us a puppy questionnaire located in the PUPPY QUESTIONNAIRE tab. The reason for the questionnaire is for us to consider the kind of life that you would offer to our puppy, so the more you let us know the better. We are sorry if it seems invasive but don't forget these are our babies and we just want the best for them.

 

3rd.- After receiving and reviewing your questionnaire, we'll get in touch and let you know if you are considered a good candidate and if there are any available spots for the current or future waiting lists.

 

4th.- If a spot is available, the communication process begins. Expect us to send you photos and videos of the available puppies so your family can get a feel for their personalities and traits. We try our best to find perfect matches based on the information received but rest assure, we believe any of our puppies would make anyone happy and by personal experience we know the more you spend time with a puppy the more you fall in love with them.

 

5th.- If decided for a puppy, we encourage you to send a non-refundable deposit to ensure a spot and even make a pick of a puppy if available.

 

6.- Once the puppies have turned six weeks old. We get in touch with our potential owners and set up dates to pay a visit to our puppies. We require the families to please bring a set of inside shoes or remove theirs while visiting the puppies, avoid going to pet stores or even be in touch with other animals that are not theirs in order to avoid anything from getting our puppies sick.

 

7.- If paying in cash you can bring the remaining balance at the time of taking your puppy home. If paying with a check or money order please send the check at an earlier date in order to clear it prior to taking your puppy home. this in order to avoid any confusion or scams. For electronic payments we can use gooddog.com as a platform for this process.

 

8.- Once the puppies have turned eight weeks and got their first set of shots, your puppy is ready to go home with your family and start a new adventure along with you and your loved ones.

 

9.- Even tho you have departed with your new puppy and we developed a void in our hearts that's not the end of our relationship!!! please become a friend with us on facebook so you can join our puppy club were other K&D's cockapoos owners share photos and anything related to their pups. Also, from the moment you get a puppy from us you have lifetime breeder support, which means you can get in touch with us anytime regarding guidance, your puppy health, any concerns and even the option to bring your puppy over in case you have to go somewhere you cannot bring it and have a sleep pup-over while you are gone (We adore the chance to see our pupies).
